Friday, May 19

12:32 a.m. At Mathers Bar, officers responded to a report of fraud involving a couple of possible fake IDs. The parties left before officers arrived.

2:45 a.m. At Lincoln Street and East Victory Way, officers responded to a hit-and-run crash. A “Do Not Enter” sign was knocked down.

10:09 a.m. On the 400 block of Tucker Street, officers responded to a report of domestic violence. There was a patient at the hospital advising that there was an assault involving her boyfriend. Officers found no evidence of a crime and no evidence of physical assault.

6:31 p.m. On the 800 block of East Seventh Street, officers responded to a report of a theft of three cell phones. They were delivered to the wrong address.

6:31 p.m. At The Memorial Hospital, officers responded to a reported theft of a cell phone, but the cell phone was returned.

8:01 p.m. At Moffat County High School, officers responded to a report of a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a student doing donuts on the school lawn. The matter was handled by school staff.

8:42 p.m. On the 2000 block of Baker Drive, officers responded to a report of a trespass. A male party known to the family took a vehicle without permission and when he returned to the residence, appeared intoxicated, according to the reporting party’s mother. A 28-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of aggravated motor vehicle theft and driving under restraint.

Saturday, May 20

9:41 a.m. On the 500 block of Victory Way, officers responded to a report of a possible assault. A man called to say he and his wife were having an altercation and she shaved his eyebrow off. Officers found no proof of a crime, but the man was upset that half of his eyebrow was missing.

10:54 a.m. On the 500 block of Yampa Avenue, officers responded to a report of a minor car crash while attempting to park leaving a damaged side mirror.

11:20 a.m. On the 1700 block of West Victory Way, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief. The flags strung across their car lot had been cut down.

11:47 a.m. On the 300 block of Hawthorn, officers responded to a report of possible fraud. A man received a call from a collection company stating he owed money to Sprint. He didn’t have a Sprint phone.

1 p.m. At East Victory Way and Lincoln Street, officers responded to a report that the same “Do Not Enter” sign that had been knocked over the previous day had again been knocked down by an older white Dodge with a flatbed.

5:14 p.m. On the 400 block of East Fourth Street, officers responded to a report of a disturbance. A woman was screaming and upset that another tenant was parking his trailer on his own property.

7:13 p.m. On the 1400 block of Sage Street, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle that appeared to be casing a neighbor’s property. Officers did extra patrols.

7:59 p.m. On the 0 block of East Eighth Street, officers responded to a report of possible criminal mischief. A neighbor saw two girls and two boys, ranging from age 10 to 15, who appeared to be tearing up the playground equipment at the administrative building. Officers found they were rearranging a playset that was meant to be rearranged.

8:25 p.m. At Mountain Meats, officers responded to a report of a suspicious incident. Two men in a pickup truck got out and appeared to be moving in and out of a plow truck belonging to Mountain Meats. They left when they saw someone was watching them. Officers did not find them.
