It's a weekend for exercise and good causes. There are fundraisers, running events and plenty of good times, I'm sure.
I'll be too busy hosting a bridal shower and bachelorette party to enjoy much of it, but you take your pick on what sounds best. And, maybe we'll see you around on Saturday night!
■ Swing and a miss.
At least that's how I golf.
The tournament, hosted at Yampa Valley Golf Course, is a four-person scramble and benefits the hospital foundation.
The cost is $200 for a team of four for 18 holes, cart, a chance at prizes and all-you-can-eat burgers. Sweetness.
■ I just love the name of this weekend's community sale.
The "Junk in the Trunk" yard sale runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. So clever.
The money raised goes toward the church's capital campaign.
To learn more or to get your own booth there, call 824-6836 or 824-4136.
■ OK, I'll admit it. I love the name of this fundraiser, too. We've got some creative folks around here.
The third annual Bone Appetit BBQ is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the OP Bar & Grill, 534 E. Victory Way.
The proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Moffat County.
Tickets are $25 per person or $48 for a couple. Children younger than 12 get in for $10.
Tickets are available at the OP or through Humane Society members. Call Pat Pearce at 824-3324 or Carol Scott at 824-2103.
■ The Pink Ladies volunteers of The Memorial Hospital are hosting a yard sale this weekend, too.
It’s scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 220 Mack Lane in Craig.
Appliances, books, clothes, games, toys and decorations are some of the items that will be available.
The sale is open to the public.
Call 629-9583 to learn more.
■ I'm not one to run for fun, but I know there are plenty of you out there. So this one's for you.
The Craig Duathlon, which consists of a 5K run followed by a 30K bike ride and another 5K run, starts at 8 a.m. Sunday at Loudy-Simpson Park.
The event is part of the Steamboat Springs Running Series. The cost is $45 for an individual or $60 for a two-person team, in which one person runs and the other bikes.

■ "Twilight" fans, get excited.
But "The A-Team" will get replaced by "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" when it's released Wednesday. So, if you're a fan, be sure to head out to West Theatre on Tuesday night. Tickets go on sale at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday for the midnight showing.
■ Hayden Speedway has a regular show starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Catch all the action for $8 for adults and $4 for youths ages 7 to 12. Kids ages 6 and younger get in free.
The track's at 37900 County Road 53 in Hayden.
