Today let’s celebrate that it’s April and finally spring.

April fools.

It’s supposed to be cloudy and rainy, or, yes, maybe even snowy, this weekend. But that doesn’t mean you can’t pull out those adorable Easter dresses and enjoy the holiday.

I don’t predict the weather will inhibit bunny travel either.

For those with little ones, don’t miss the Lions Club annual Easter egg hunt, scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Craig City Park.

It’s a mad dash for the goodies, and it’s comical to watch. And, of course, the kiddos love it.

Even if it rains, the show must go on, as it has for three decades.

Many local churches will host special services in observance of the holiday, as well. Read Friday’s Craig Daily Press for a complete listing of Easter activities.

The Final Four teams in the men’s NCAA tournamentMichigan State, Butler, West Virginia and Duke — play Saturday for the championship spots. The winner will be determined Monday night.

Both days, The Sports Page Bar in the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13, offers $4 appetizers, $2 domestic drafts and a chance to win a flat screen TV.

If you haven’t yet, you might want to get moving on filing your taxes. Just two weeks left.

That’s not exactly my idea of weekend fun, but I thought some readers out there might need a friendly reminder.

West Theatre is showing “Clash of the Titans” — with a special premiere at 8:01 p.m. today — as well as “How to Train Your Dragon” for a second week.

Redbox also has “An Education,” which looks like a fun chick flick to me. I’m all over it.
