Auditions for parts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Meeker High School auditorium. A prepared and memorized short monologue and a song either from the musical or another offering should be rehearsed in advance of the tryout. Actors may come in costume and use props if they wish.

The scope and cast size of this production will also require younger actors from elementary- and middle school-age youth, as well as some adults of the Meeker community.

Assistance for technical crew positions will also be welcomed for set and scene design and construction, costumes, makeup, hair styling, props, stage management, lighting and sound and other features.

Previous MHS musical productions with community cast and crew participation included "The Music Man" and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers."
