Moffat County High School's Homecoming starts this week with a multitude of activities for Bulldogs of past and present to show their school spirit.

This year's Homecoming theme is Disney. Dress-up days start Tuesday with students able to don their crowns and gowns for Prince/Princess Day. Break out your spandex costumes for Wednesday's Superhero/Supervillain Day and pick your favorite Pixar movie character for Thursday.

Dress-up days for Craig Middle School are Crazy Hair Day Tuesday, Dress Like a Redneck or Hippie Wednesday and Inside-Out or Backward Thursday.

At both schools, Friday is the day to wear Bulldog blue and white.

Regular team sports include the boys soccer team's Monday match with Roaring Fork and varsity volleyball hosting Rifle Tuesday, culminating in the football game between MCHS and Montezuma-Cortez. The week will also offer Powder Puff football and Macho Volleyball.

Traditional events like the Thursday night bonfire and the royalty march are scheduled, but one change from last year is the cancellation of the cardboard boat regatta at Loudy-Simpson Park due to maintenance.

Class floats for the Friday parade will be built during the week at various locations around town. Classes will let out early for all schools at noon Friday to attend the parade at 1 p.m., which the entire community is encouraged to attend.
