MCHS puts together a commanding fourth quarter and defeats Glenwood Springs, 47-38, tonight on the road. The win puts the Bulldogs in position to tie for the league crown.

Glenwood Springs was able to trim the Bulldogs’ lead in a third quarter dominated by defense, but not by much. MCHS leads 28-23 going into the final frame.
In a big WSL game, the Bulldogs are up, 24-18, on the road at halftime tonight at Glenwood Springs. Melissa Camilletti has knocked down four 3-pointers so far, leading the MCHS offensive attack.
The Bulldogs come out strong in the first quarter, and lead Glenwood Springs, 13-6. It took MCHS five minutes to score, but once the Bulldogs did, the floodgates opened. MCHS sinks four 3-pointers in the opening frame.
Melissa Camilletti and Sassy Murray scored 6 points each for the Bulldogs.
The Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team's road to a Western Slope League title goes through Glenwood Springs tonight.
The Demons (17-3 overall, 9-1 WSL) will host the Bulldogs (14-7 overall, 8-2 WSL) at 6 p.m. tonight.
In the last game between the two teams Jan. 8, the Bulldogs trailed by 16 heading into the fourth quarter, but stormed back to tie the game with less than 10 seconds left.
However, a buzzer beating lay-up by the Demons stopped the comeback and secured the victory for Glenwood, 50-48.
If the Bulldogs win tonight, there will be a three-way tie atop the WSL between MCHS, Glenwood and Delta.
