Moffat County High School will host a series of events next week in celebration of the end of the school year and the 2010 graduating class.

The week kicks off Monday with an event for future MCHS students.

Eighth-grade students will participate in a high school transition ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday in the MCHS auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.

On Tuesday, the MCHS National Honor Society will induct its new members in a ceremony at 6 p.m., also in the auditorium.

Students who have a cumulative 3.75 GPA were invited to apply and undergo a faculty evaluation. More than 20 students will be inducted Tuesday.

Following the NHS ceremony, an academic awards ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Various academic departments will honor excellence in different disciplines.
