These past several months, as I campaigned to become your mayor, have been the most humbling and fulfilling times of my life. I am not a politician — I have been serving people in business and through community organizations for more 45 years.
This political campaign required the support of my wife Corrie, coworkers, friends, and people that I really had no acquaintance with prior to this endeavor. I am used to doing things myself or for others, so to have individuals step up with kind words, encouragement, and then to vote on behalf was almost overwhelming to me.
Now that I have been elected as your mayor, I can get back to doing what I most enjoy doing and that is serving you! I understand that I represent each and every individual in the community. Sometimes our diverse views will create disagreement, but please know that I will always strive to do what is in the best interest of Craig and its citizens as a whole.
The city has amazing staff that works hard to provide great customer service no matter what the circumstances. Each of the city council members and our City Manager Mike Forman has a passion for making Craig the best it can be. Thank you to my opponent Joe Bird for running a fair and respectful campaign. I look forward to continuing to work side-by-side with him.
This is an exciting time in the history of Craig. Working together as a community we will create an enduring and bright future. Please know that my commitment to this community runs deep. I am always at your service, so please call me at 970-326-8238 if you have any questions or concerns. I am proud to get your vote of confidence and am excited for the opportunity to serve you.
