‘Jail House Rock’ tickets on sale now, price adjusted

Ryan Sheridan

From now until Friday, the Moffat County Public Safety Center will be undergoing final detail work, organization, and the hustle and bustle of law enforcement departments moving in and getting settled, all in anticipation of the first inmates: Law-abiding, charitable residents.

Tickets for Friday’s “Jail House Rock” inauguration party at the Safety Center went on sale yesterday, with some changes.

All tickets are now $25 and everyone who buys a ticket will receive a T-shirt. The ticket will be good for the party, dance, hors d’oeuvres Friday evening and informal tours on request. The ticket price will also cover the bed-and-breakfast portion if the ticket holder can reserve one of the 88 beds in the Safety Center. Included with the sleepover is breakfast and a guided tour.

The breakfast and tour will be open to any who has an interest. Breakfast is from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., and the tours are from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The cost for the breakfast and tour is $4.

All funds raised will benefit Grand Futures Prevention Coalition.

Tickets are available at Jackson’s Office Supply, KRAI, On the Shelf Bookstore and Grand Futures.
