Police responded to an ambulance assist at 625 Wicks Avenue for a 33 year-old male having a diabetic seizure.
Police received a call from the Greeley Medical center referring to a hunter who came in on Friday with a gun shot wound to the abdomen. The hunter stated he was hunting in Craig when he was accidently shot in the abdomen. His friend was unloading gun their vehicle when it went off. The bullet went through the vehicle door and hit the male party. The party thought it was just superficial and didn’t report the incident in Craig. The party had second thoughts and stopped at he Greeley Medical Center to check the wound where some shrapnel was removed. The information was passed on to the Moffat County Sheriff’s Department and they stated that they would advise the Division of Wildlife.
Four possibly Hispanic males stole gas from 895 North Yampa Avenue. Drove off in an unknown direction possibly in a gray 1980’s Chevy Cavalier.
Martin A. Martinez, 37, was warned for driving too fast for conditions on the 700 Block of Yampa Avenue.
