Hearings set for alleged drug offenders
February 1, 2007
The next court appearances for suspects accused of drug distribution charges were scheduled Wednesday afternoon in Moffat County Court.
Daniel Christopher Carr and Andy Eugene Seltzer, both of Craig, are charged with distribution of a schedule 2 controlled substance, a felony. They were scheduled to appear before Judge Sandra Gardner on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.
The case against Carr, 21, has been moved to 14th Judicial District Court, a court clerk said. He is scheduled to appear for an arraignment hearing at 11 a.m. Feb. 27.
The Greater Routt and Mof-fat Narcotic Enforcement Team arrested Carr in December 2006, along with eight other suspects. Each of the suspects was charged with a narcotic-related offense.
One of those suspects was Kassandra Joann Dilldine. She is charged with conspiracy to distribute or manufacture a schedule 1 controlled substance.
Her Wednesday preliminary hearing was continued to 1 p.m. Feb. 13. The same time and date has been set for a judge to rule on Dilldine’s probation status, a court clerk said.
GRAMNET also arrested Seltzer. He, along with seven other suspects, were taken into custody in November 2006 based off information that the suspects allegedly sold narcotics to undercover officers or confidential informants.
Seltzer also is charged with distribution of a schedule 2 controlled substance. His Wed-nesday preliminary hearing was continued to 1 p.m. Feb. 13.
