Hayden residents celebrate Halloween with night of fun parties and carnival

Mr. and Mrs. Neil Forsyth went to Texas to attend the marriage celebration of their daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Paul Manning, who were married in Hayden in October at the Forsyth home . Molly and Paul will be making their home in Lubbock, Texas, where they will both be practicing law.

Jon Michael Hardman and Elizabeth B. Ziesenis have purchased the Frank and Karen Fox residence located on 2nd Street.

Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Barnes hosted a Halloween party at their home north of Hayden Oct. 28.

Jesse and Veronica Diderrich of Craig announce the birth of their daughter, Alicea, born Oct. 26 at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. Alicea weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 19 1/4 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are John and Kathy Lozinsky of Hayden. Great grandparents are Geraldine Jones of Castledale, Utah and John and Catherine Lozinsky of East Carbon, Utah.
Paternal grandparents are Ron Bugay of Craig and Mary Ann Bugay of Craig, Sharon Svendsen of Wabasha, Minn., and Jimmy Diderrich of Minn. Great grandmother is Dicie Bailey of Craig.

The EMSAC conference in Breckenridge was held in October. Bryan Rickman, Lorie McCarty, Elsie Richardson, Lyla Miller, Eva Hinkle, Nancy Montieth, Diane Lenahan, Carla and Robin Lightizer from the local team attended the three-day meet.

Sylvia Walker, Jolene Lewis, Tena Frentress, Steffanie Pearce, Ruby Wertenberger, Sherry Dunckley and Cynthia Bedell attended the annual statewide PERA Educator conference in Breckenridge Oct. 13 and 14.

The night of Oct. 28, the Hayden Booster Club held a Halloween night of fun at the fairgrounds. The exhibit hall housed a carnival, and the sale barn a haunted house. Hayrides were provided from the exhibit hall to the sale barn, which is quite a trek in the dark. The club reports that there was a great crowd. The crowd reports that it was the place to be on that Saturday evening. All who worked so hard on this project need to be commended for a job well done.
