Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Reinks recently returned from Orem, Utah where they helped Bessie’s mother celebrate her 88th birthday. Also able to be there were Shaine and Ed Gunderson and family from Collbran and Scott and Kelley Reinks and family from DeBeque.
Bill Hayden is recuperating at his home following surgery. He is doing very well and hopes to soon be back to work.
Donna Hellyer hosted a Pampered Chef party in her home Sunday afternoon Nov. 11. Michelle Brewster from Littleton was the sales representative. This was a Christmas cookie making and decorating fun party.
Marqueritte Rolando was released last week from the Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. She is presently a resident at the Doak Walker, Extended Care Center.
Connie Robinson has returned home from Texas where she attended schooling for her job at the Yampa Valley Regional Airport.
Fran and Edna Otis celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on Wed., Nov. 14. Congratulations to you both and may you enjoy many more wonderful years together.
The Girl Scouts nuts and candies have arrived. The girls will be delivering orders. They also have extras if anyone should need them. Please call 276-4152 for additional goodies.
Olive Dean Blake was in Grand Junction last weekend to visit relatives and many friends who now make their home there.
Ladies, please remember that the Hayden Eastern Star is again selling nuts for the holiday season. They will be at the Masonic Hall Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
The Troop 214 Cadets are giving a tea party on Sunday, Nov. 18, at the elementary cafeteria for any Kindergarten children who might be interested in joining this great organization.
