— Competitors presented their horses at the Moffat County Fair’s halter and performance horse show Monday.

Courtney Haskins, 11, said she has been in 4-H since she was 4. She led her horse, Dream, around the arena.

4-H “helps with life skills,” she said. “I practiced at home with my horse.”

Ed Coryell was the announcer at the event, and he said he took joy in helping out at the fair.

“After 30 years of announcing for the kids, every day is a good day,” he said.
