Free resources at the Moffat County Library

To the Editor;

It’s National Library Week and the Moffat County Libraries encourages everyone to learn about the many wonderful, free resources available at your library.

Of course, the library has always been a one-stop shop for information and entertainment. Whether it’s books, magazines, videos or audios, you can easily find what you are looking for. All you need is a library card.

Did you know that 75 percent of our nation’s public libraries, including the Moffat County Libraries, offer computers to the public? That’s right. In fact, for people without a computer at home or school, the library is the number-one way to get electronic resources like the census, health information, and specialized databases.

Moffat County Libraries has three branches Craig, Maybell and Dinosaur. There are a number of services for children and adults, including summer reading programs, storytimes, book clubs and promotional activities.

So, stop by the Moffat County Library this week to help celebrate National Library Week and explore what’s new. Find out what you can do at you library.

Sincerely,

Donna Watkins
