Free entry to Dinosaur National Monument during National Park Week

Through Sunday, National Park Week celebrates America's natural heritage with free entry on the weekend and special programs for kids and adults at parks nationwide throughout the week.

Entrance fees will be waived on Saturday and Sunday at all national parks, including Dinosaur National Monument in western Moffat County. Camping fees still apply.

The monument will also be hosting a National Junior Ranger Day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, with special activities for kids and families in and around the Quarry Exhibit Hall.

National Parks Week seeks encourage people to get outside and discover everything the parks have to offer.
