Flooring business expands, gets downtown gig
March 18, 2007
Tom and Jessie Cramer, owners of Cramer Flooring, have a plush feeling under their feet.
It’s the feeling of their new downtown flooring business.
The couple has installed carpet for several years, and now offers a full line of carpet, tile vinyl, hardwood and laminate flooring options.
“Any carpet product will be available,” Tom said.
The Cramers used to install flooring purchased elsewhere. On March 1, they bought out the inventory of Rebekah’s Interiors, previously owned by Rebekah Greenwood, and moved into the 575 Yampa Ave. location.

“This is a perfect place to be,” Jessie said.
Rebekah’s, Donna’s Hair Salon and Trinkets, Trash and Treasures used to be housed at that shop.
The Cramers remodeled the downtown shop with new paint and flooring and now are open for business to sell and install flooring.
“There was a definite need for another choice in town,” Tom said.
And the other Craig flooring stores have been supportive, he said.
Tom has 25 years of flooring experience, and Jessie has been assisting him for two years. With the new shop, the couple has hired one employee, who has 18 years of experience.
The Cramers plan a grand opening in a month or so.
