Fitness tip: Water is vitally important
July 11, 2014
Good old H2O (water) is critical for hydration. The combination of not drinking enough water before engaging in exercise and these hot steamy temperatures is a surefire way to put you on the path to dehydration. Staying hydrated while exercising is important because of added sweat loss that occurs, and it will help fight fatigue and prolong endurance. If your mouth starts to become dry during exercise, take a water break. Drymouth can be an early indicator of dehydration.
