Fitness Tip: 15 minutes of walking improves health

According to American College of Sports Medicine, research shows “regular exercise, such as brisk walking, may be one of the best prescriptions for improving your health.”

As exercise has shown to increase health while decreasing risks, walking is a great place to start. Only 15 minutes of moderate-paced walking after a meal can help control blood sugar levels.

A thirty-minute walk first thing in the morning can wake you up, increase blood flow, reduce stress and jump-start your metabolism, allowing you to burn calories throughout the day.
