First Christian Church hosts community picnic

The members of First Christian Church would like to invite the community of Craig and the surrounding areas to enjoy free food and entertainment during our third annual “Share the Harvest” celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 960 W. Victory Way.

“For the past three years, we have wanted to show the community how important you are to us,” Minister Beryl Wright said. “Nothing will be required from you except your empty stomachs and your time.”

This is an event to which you’ll want to bring your whole family, he said.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the church’s Praise Team, who leads praise service on Sunday mornings. Some of the music will be familiar tunes from the ’60s and ’70s.

Children are invited to have fun with face painting and meet Snoopy, Kermit and the Care Bears.

Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings will be served. Soft drinks will be provided, as well as ice cream.
