MCHS girls earn league victory on the road

MCHS continued building on its lead and won, 52-40, at Eagle Valley.
MCHS expanded its third quarter lead over Eagle Valley by 3 points in the third quarter and is ahead 37-30 going into the fourth.
MCHS puts together a strong second quarter and leads Eagle Valley, 21-17, at halftime.

The Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team will play at 6 p.m. tonight in Eagle Valley.
The Bulldogs (10-12 overall, 8-5 in the Western Slope League) are coming off Tuesday's 43-29 win over Steamboat Springs. A win tonight could seal MCHS' state playoff bid.
The Devils (12-10 overall, 4-9 in the WSL) have played well recently behind the return of injured guard Brenda Zapata.
MCHS was able to outlast the Devils at home Jan. 8 for their first league win of the season.
