5 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 Ladies Auxiliary hosts its monthly senior citizens’ dinner at the VFW restaurant. The menu includes sloppy Joes, potato chips, baked beans and fruit Jell-O with whipped cream.

5:15 to 7:30 p.m. Colorado North–western Community College and Colorado State University present a workshop on disc golf at the Loudy-Simpson Park Disc Golf Course, which is on the west end of the park behind covered picnic shelter. Participants will receive a disc as part of their registration fee, as well as learn basic disc golf throws and tips. Call 824-1101.
