The Boys & Girls Club of Craig will be closed starting today and will reopen for the summer June 13.

8:30 a.m. Dog Agility in the Park event, a NADAC-sactioned trial, will take place in Maybell through Monday. Spectators are asked to bring lawn chairs. The event is free. See dogs and their handlers work their way through obstacle courses, jumps, tunnels and weaves. Call Lori at 824-4159.

9:30 a.m. Cowboy Action Shoot will be at Bears Ears Sportsman’s Club.

10 a.m. Moffat County High School graduation will take place in the high school gymnasium.

1 p.m. Grand Olde West Days parade in downtown Craig. After the parade, there will be chariot races at the Moffat County Fairgrounds racetrack. Admission for the races is $5.

3 p.m. An antique tractor pull will be downtown.

7 p.m. A bull-riding competition in conjunction with Grand Olde West Days takes place until 9 p.m. at the Moffat County Fairgrounds arena. Advance tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce and Under the Aspen Tree.

Noon. The Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Brown’s Amusements Carnival will be open until midnight at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.

Sunday, May 29

8 a.m. Interdenominational worship service and blessing of the animals is at the Moffat County Fairgrounds picnic shelter.

8:30 a.m. Dog Agility in the Park event will take place in Maybell through Monday. Call Lori at 824-4159.

Monday, May 30

7 a.m. The Craig Sea Sharks are raising funds with a pancake breakfast at Yampa and Victory Way. The cost is $5 and includes pancakes, sausage and eggs.

11 a.m. Memorial Day services by the VFW and American Legion at the Craig Cemetery.

11 a.m. The Grand Olde West Days Street Festival begins downtown. Throughout the day there will be vendors, music and performances by character actors.

Wednesday, June 1

6 p.m. The BLM hosts a public meeting to discuss the Draft Wild and Scenic Rivers Eligibility Report at Shadow Mountain Clubhouse. The report is available at http://www.nwcos.org/44201.html.

7 p.m. Bingo is held at the VFW, 419 E. Victory Way and is open to the public. Call 824-7145.

6 p.m. The co-ed adult recreational soccer group will meet on Wednesdays at Woodbury Park throughout the summer. There is no cost to play, but competitors should bring shingaurds and water. Call Bill Sawer for more information at 824-0116.
