8:30 a.m. The Moffat County Commission meets at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-5517.

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook and drivers to help deliver meals. Call 824-5330.



11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership hosts a class for small business owners titled “Basic supervision” in the second floor meeting room of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. Lunch is served. Cost is $10, or free to EDP or Craig Chamber of Commerce Members. Call 756-1885 to RSVP.

Noon. The Craig Lions Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome. The Lions Club is an international organization that provides the community with vision projects and eye screenings for area children. Call Al Shepherd at 824-6697.



5 p.m. Weight Watchers meets at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The weigh-in begins at 5 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6 p.m. Call Susie Violette at 824-1956.

7 p.m. The Moffat County Fair Board meets at the Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. Call 824-9180.

7:30 p.m. Craig City Council meets in the Council Chambers of Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St. Call 824-8151.

8 p.m. A closed meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Closed meetings are only for people with a desire to stop drinking. Call Bud at 824-1793.
