7:30 a.m. The Moffat County Sheriff's Office hosts a Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament at Yampa Valley Golf Course. The cost to enter is $40 per player, plus non-members pay a green's fee. Proceeds benefit Moffat County High School graduates pursuing higher education. Call Rick Holford at 826-2308.

8 a.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 and Ladies Auxiliary, local law enforcement agencies and the Colorado Division of Wildlife partner to host the 57th annual Huck Finn Cops and Kids Fishing Day at Loudy-Simpson Park. 8 a.m. to noon. A Love INC Car Care Clinic for single mothers, senior citizens and residents who are disabled takes place at the Journey at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. Volunteers check vehicles bumper to bumper free of charge, by appointment only. Call 826-4400 for an appointment.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association offers free cardiovascular and diabetes screenings at the Craig office, 745 Russell St. Call Cindy at 819-1771.

11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The American Legion Post 62 baseball team hosts Rangely at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The second annual Northwestern Deaf Social takes place at Calvary Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave. Anyone who is deaf, hard of hearing or interested in sign language is encouraged to attend. Call Staci Nichols or Deena Armstrong at 824-2547.

1 to 6 p.m. The Craig Pool Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 and older; $3.25 for swimmers 12 to 17; $3 for swimmers 4 to 11; and swimmers 3 and under and 55 and older swim for free. Call the pool at 824-3015.
