8 a.m. The Yampa Valley Horse Show Association hosts an open horse show at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The cost is $9 in advance at http://www.yampavalleyhorseshow.com or $10 on show day. Call Christina at 871-4567.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Whittle the Wood Rendezvous carving competition continues at Craig City Park, 605 Washington St. Food and arts and crafts vendors will be on site. Attendees can vote for their favorite carving.

10 a.m. The Moffat County Fairgrounds, 640 E. Victory Way, hosts the third performance of the Colorado State High School Rodeo finals. Admission is $20 for 11 and older, which includes all performances. Those 10 and younger and senior citizens are free.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bear River Young Life and Colorado Cruisers are having their car and motorcycle show in downtown Craig, 400 and 500 Blocks, Yampa Ave.

10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The annual Jarvie Ranch Family Fest is at John Jarvie Ranch, along Colorado Highway 318 eight miles past the Utah border. Activities are free. Lunch is $5. Call (435) 781-4400 or (455) 885-3307.

Noon. A reunion with a potluck meal for students of the Dinosaur (formerly Artesia) school is at the school. Call Rob at (970) 374-2221.
