8 a.m. The Colorado Mine Rescue Contest continues at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. Day 2 features mine rescue competitions. The event is free and open to the public.

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults ages 50 and older at American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Options include art, writing and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week's lunchtime presentation. Call 871-7676.

11:30 a.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership Board meets in the main floor conference room of Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. Call 826-2039.

5:30 p.m. A meeting for women only of the Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Penny at 824-1793.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association's Community Health Center hosts a Child Health Fair at the center, 745 Russell St. Well child exams and sports physicals are $25 each, and insurance and Medicaid are accepted. Dental screenings, car seat safety checks, fire safety information, immunizations and healthy eating information are free. Call 824-8233.

9 to 11 a.m. Playgroup for toddler/preschool-age children takes place at the Early Childhood Development Preschool at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. Call Carissa at 826-9742.
