7:30 a.m. The 44th annual Cottonwood Classic golf tournament continues at the Yampa Valley Golf Course, 2179 Colorado Highway 394. Call 824-3673.

11 a.m. The Moffat County Little Britches Rodeo starts at the Moffat County Fairgrounds, 640 E. Victory Way. The event is free and open to the public.

5:45 p.m. American Legion Post 62 hosts bingo Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Call the American Legion at 824-3625.

8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries are closed in observance of Independence Day.

Noon. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 hosts a Fourth of July parade and community barbecue to celebrate Independence Day. The parade begins at the VFW, 419 E. Victory Way, and travels west on Victory Way, north on Yampa Avenue, and east on Sixth Street to Craig City Park. A free community barbecue will follow the parade at the south end of City Park, 605 Washington St. Call Johnny Garcia at 824-2627 or 629-3345.

Noon. Al-Anon, a group for friends and family members of alcoholics, meets at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Lois at 824-4147.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 657 Green St. Study of the Big Book takes place at 8 p.m. Call 326-6646.

9 p.m. Craig Fire/Rescue presents a Fourth of July fireworks display from Moffat County High School.
