Police: No injuries in Saturday vehicle accident
A two-vehicle collision slowed traffic Saturday afternoon in Craig. A Ford Freestar minivan and a Lexus RX 350 crossover SUV were involved in a crash shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Finley Lane and West Victory Way.
An anonymous $5,000 donation to local law enforcement prompted the Public Safety Center to start a new Christmas program called “Shop With a Cop.”The goal of the program is to bring law enforcement and at risk children together during the holidays. “The generosity of this community amazes me,” said Moffat County Sheriff CK Hume.

The jury trial of former Craig Police Officer Tracy Reneau started on Thursday at Routt County Combined Court and ended on Friday with a verdict of not guilty. The six-person jury — three men and three women — deliberated for about two hours before exonerating Reneau on charges of child abuse and third-degree assault, both misdemeanors.
