Craig sports briefs: Sea Sharks planning April 8 meeting

The Craig Sea Sharks swimming team will host a mandatory parents meeting at 7 p.m., April 8 at the Moffat County High School library, 900 Finley Lane.
Swimmers can be registered during the meeting, or by calling 824-5575 or 824-5662.
The Sea Sharks will have their first practice at 4:30 p.m. April 9 at the MCHS pool.
Youth hockey board meeting is Wednesday
The Craig Youth Hockey Association will have its monthly board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.
The meeting is open to the public. For more information, call Betta Boatright at 824-2046.
Bad Dogs wrestlers claim 28 medals in Rifle
The Craig Bad Dogs youth wrestling team kicked off the Northwest Colorado League schedule Saturday in Rifle with 28 wrestlers taking home medals.

Cody Baker, Corbin Beck, Mikey Bingham, Daniel Caddy, Shandon Hadley, Kaden Hixson, Greg Hixson, Mikinzie Klimper, Mathew Moschetti, Deven Mosman, Tyler Roberts and Dagan White all claimed first-place finishes.
Noah Duran, Dominic Beck, Logan Hafey, Chris Moschetti, John T. Peroulis, Stelios Peroulis and Ethan Powers finished second.
Thomas Baker, Kaden Hafey, Colton Hall, Hugo Hernandez, Laaden Rothermund, Drew Rothermund and Chase Rule finished in third place while Anthony Duran and Hunter Roberts finished in fourth place.
The Northwest Colorado League, which features teams from Meeker, Hayden, Rifle, Steamboat, Parachute, Rangely, New Castle and Craig, consists of six tournaments.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, the Bad Dogs will host the fourth annual Bad Dogs Wrestling Classic at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.
