Kickoff is 1 p.m., and spectators are reminded that ticket prices are higher for playoff games.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students and free to children under 7.

Concealed carry certification class available

Colorado Northwestern Community College's community education courses, a concealed carry NRA basic pistol certification course will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 14 at Bears Ears Sportsman Club, north of Craig on Moffat County Road 7.

The $65 class includes about six hours of instruction and one to two hours of shooting.

Students need their firearm, 50 rounds of ammunition, eye protection, earplugs, lunch and water.

Acknowledge worthy coaches with national award

Nominations are open for the 2016 Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach Award.

Each year, the program honors 50 youth and high school coaches who lead athletes to victory while also teaching life lessons through sports.

Nominations may come from a school or youth sports organization leader, fellow coach, parent, athlete, friend or family member. The award includes a $200 prize, a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to California in April to accept the honor at the National Youth Sports Awards, a certificate and recognition in PCA’s website, newsletters and media campaigns.

The program will accept nominations through Dec. 31, 2015.
