Craig Sports Briefs for Jan. 19, 2015: Youth bowling rolls on

The Craig Youth League is back in action at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center, 990 Industrial Ave., after a winter break. The weekly activity features games for all age groups.

Peewees range from ages 3 to 6, playing one game per week at 4 p.m. Sundays for $2.50 per participant. Bantams — 7 to 12 — and High Rollers — 13 to 18 — roll three games beginning at 4:45 p.m. Sundays for $7 apiece.

Each bowler also must pay an annual fee of $10 for United States Bowling Congress membership. Coaches are available for all ages and experience levels.



The league will run through April 26.

Indoor soccer games offered

A series of indoor soccer games are available at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. Highway 40.

Games are from 7 to 9 p.m., boys on Mondays and Wednesdays and girls on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Participation is limited to students in grades eight through 12.

A separate event is offered for adults, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays through March, also at the Boys & Girls Club.

The adult co-ed league is $1 per player per night.
