The Squirt 10U and Peewee 12U Craig Cougar teams will still have matches this weekend starting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday as Peewees play Vail and the Squirts take on Steamboat Springs in between.

The Peewees will also meet Steamboat at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, all games taking place at Moffat County Ice Arena at Loudy-Simpson Park, 600 S. Ranney St.

Elks hoop shoot available to local kids

The Elks National Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest takes place in Craig Dec. 19 at Sandrock Elementary SchoolSandrock Elementary School, 201 E. Ninth St., 201 E. Ninth St.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the contest is free and open to boys and girls ages 8 to 13. Each participant will shoot five practice throws and 25 regular free throws.
