Faith Lutheran Church will celebrate 50 years in Craig later this month.

In honor of the celebration, the church has installed a new stained-glass window and will host public events and services at its 580 Green St., location.

The church is scheduled to host an open house of its sanctuary and fellowship hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 19. The public is welcome to tour the facilities and view displays on the history of Lutherans in Craig.

The public is also invited to a divine service from 3 to 4 p.m. with a guest preacher slated to speak.

At 9 a.m. June 20, the church will offer a divine service with holy communion. A potluck dinner will follow.

Several of the church's founders still live in the area, including Vera and Vern Herbert.
