Craig briefs: SHARE Craig orders taken today

Purchasing for SHARE Craig food orders and Christmas packages will be received between 4:45 and 6:45 p.m. today at St. Michael Catholic Church, 638 School St.
If anyone would like to donate the cost of a Christmas package, which can be given to someone in need, they may do so at the above time.
The cost this year of a Christmas package is $34 and includes a spiral ham. For more information, call Karen Gibson at 824-7939.
Book club to review three works Dec. 10
The Craig Book Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Club member Marty Cisar will review "Sunflower and the Secret Fan," "Peony in Love" and "Shanghai Girls." Send holiday mail for troops by Friday
The U.S. Postal Service reminds everyone that holiday mail and packages for U.S. troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan should be sent by this Friday for arrival by Christmas. Holiday mail going to other military overseas locations should be sent by Dec. 11.
Except for military mail going to Iraq and Afghanistan, Express Mail also can be used to mail packages to other overseas military locations until Dec. 18 for delivery by Christmas.
Saddle Club to host gymkhana series
As a part of its Winter Gymkhana Series, the Little Snake River Valley Saddle Club will host events Sunday and Dec. 20 at Russell Community Park Indoor Arena in Dixon, Wyo.

Blue Ribbon chefs preparing treats
The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are offering a business after-hours mixer from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, hosted by Blue Ribbon Kitchens. The chefs of Blue Ribbon Kitchens, Aletha and Cindy, will prepare appetizers and Christmas treats at their new location, 2005 W. Victory Way.
