Craig Briefs: Moffat County accepting letters of interest for hospital, tourism association boards

The Moffat County Commission is accepting letters of interest from people interested in filling open seats on The Memorial Hospital and Moffat County Tourism Association boards.
The hospital board opening is for a Moffat County resident.
Chairman Ron Danner stepped down May 26 from his seat six months before his term was to end in January 2011.
The commission is looking for individuals to finish Danner's term, and then serve a five-year term through January 2015.
Gina Robison resigned from her MCTA board position May 14.
The new MCTA board member must be involved with the tourism or hospitality industries.
The term runs through December.
Letters of interest will be accepted through June 11 and can be mailed to the following address:

The Craig Lodging Tax committee is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. today in the council chambers at Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St.
The committee will begin to examine a potential ordinance to manage the proposed tax. The meeting is open to the public.

American Legion Post 62 is scheduled to host bingo Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games begin at 6:15 p.m.
