MCHS Class of 1980 to host meeting

There will be an organizational meeting for all 1980 Moffat County High School graduates at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Holiday Inn of Craig.

Classmates are encouraged to attend to continue the planning process for an upcoming 30-year class reunion.

VNA gives reminder of health services



Free birth control now is available through the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association’s Family Planning Program, the VNA announced in a news release.

The VNA also offers low-cost women’s health care and screenings for sexually transmitted diseases.

Group makes plans for awareness day

The Independent Life Center, 483 Yampa Ave., will host a meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday to organize and plan Disability Awareness Day this year.

The ILC is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act being signed into law.

The meeting is open to the public.

VNA hosts drop-in immunization clinic

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will offer a drop-in immunization clinic for adolescents in middle school and high school from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.

Immunizations include Tdap and Menactra.

Parents should bring their child’s immunization record to the clinic and must be present if their child is younger than 18.
