Craig Briefs: MCHS Class of 1980 reuniting this week

The Moffat County High School Class of 1980 is having its 30-year class reunion Friday and Saturday.
Events include a mixer Friday at JW Snacks, a barbecue Saturday afternoon at Loudy-Simpson Park and a dance Saturday night at The Center of Craig.
Classmates up to five years younger and five years older than the 1980 class are invited to attend the dance.

Library board to meet Monday
The monthly meeting of the Moffat County Libraries board is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Craig branch, 570 Green St.
The meeting is open to the public.

Today is final day for Bible school
Craig Christian Church, 960 W. Victory Way, is hosting its final day of vacation Bible school for kindergarten through sixth-grade students today.
The session begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.

Loudy event aimed at geocachers
The second annual Geocaching Brown Bag Lunch Meet & Greet is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24 at Loudy-Simpson Park.
Newcomers are welcome.
Fund estalished for medical expenses
Craig resident Mel L. Duran was recently diagnosed with leukemia, and is undergoing treatment at University Hospital in Denver.
A fund has been established to help Duran with medical costs.
Donations can be made to Yampa Valley Bank, 435 Mack Lane in Craig, in care of Mel Duran.
