Craig Briefs: Legion bingo slated for Saturday

American Legion Post 62 is scheduled to host bingo Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6:15 p.m.

The event is open to the public.

Food distribution set for Saturday

MCHS Class of 1980 reuniting today



The Moffat County High School Class of 1980 is having its 30-year class reunion today and Saturday.

Events include a mixer today at JW Snacks, a barbecue Saturday afternoon at Loudy-Simpson Park and a dance Saturday night at The Center of Craig.

Classmates up to five years younger and five years older than the 1980 class are invited to attend the dance.

Church offers Bible school next week

Ridgeview Church of God, 690 Riford Road, is scheduled to host vacation Bible school.

Sessions run from 6 to 9 p.m., and end July 23.

The program is open for pre-school through sixth-grade students.

Library board to meet Monday

The monthly meeting of the Moffat County Libraries board is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Craig branch, 570 Green St. The meeting is open to the public.

Humane society garage sale set

The Humane Society of Moffat County is accepting items for its annual garage sale until July 29.

The organization is unable to accept adult clothing or large appliances, according to a news release.

The sale is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 30 and 31 in the barn behind the house at 2205 E. Ninth St.
