Immunization clinic slated for Tuesday

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is hosting a drop-in immunization clinic for kindergarten through high school students Tuesday at the VNA's office in Craig, 745 Russell St.

The clinic is scheduled for 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Immunizations will be offered for up to $14 per shot. Parents are asked to take their child's immunization records and are required to be at the clinic.

Open Horse Show set for Sunday

The Yampa Valley Horse Show Association hosts its Open Horse Show on Sunday.

The event runs from 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. Registration is from 8 to 9 a.m.

The Open Horse Show is open to all ages and breeds of horses. Classes include halter, showmanship, English, Western and jackpot.

The cost is $7 per class, or $45 for an all-day pass.

Class of 1965 hosts reunion next week

The Moffat County High School Class of 1965 has a reunion scheduled for Aug. 13, 14 and 15.

Friends of the class are welcome to visit at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 at the OP Bar & Grill, 534 E. Victory Way.

Kiwanis Club to host golf tournament

The 16th annual Craig Kiwanis Club Scholarship Golf Tournament is set for an 8 a.m. shotgun start Saturday at Yampa Valley Golf Course.

The format is a four-person scramble and is open to anyone who wants to play.

The cost is $70 per player for adults and $35 per player for youths 16 and younger.

Each team must include at least one adult player. The first 25 teams to pay will participate.

The tournament is dedicated to the late Dan Ovenden.
