Craig resident Mel L. Duran was recently diagnosed with leukemia, and is undergoing treatment at University Hospital in Denver. A fund has been established to help Duran with medical costs.
Donations can be made to Yampa Valley Bank, 435 Mack Lane in Craig, in care of Mel Duran.

Today is the final day for the public to vote on photographs for the Humane Society of Moffat County's 2011 Pet Mates Calendar.
Voting will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Farmer's Market at Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig.
Voting is by donation.

Elks Lodge hosting weekend yard sale
The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, will host an indoor yard sale with an open snack bar Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone with items to sell can get a table for $5 (Elks Lodge members) or $10 (the fee for non members).
Items to be sold can range from baked goods, crafts or simply "stuff you want to get rid of," according to a news release.
