Moffat County's United States Department of Agriculture food distributions continue today.
The Maybell distribution will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Maybell Community Center.
The Dinosaur distribution is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the county office.

Preserving the Last Frontier potluck set
The Preserving the Last Frontier organization is scheduled to meet at noon Saturday in the picnic area at the Moffat County Fairgrounds for a potluck.
Visitors are encouraged to take food to share, table service and an item for show-and-tell.
The meeting is open to the public.

Rapper/singer to perform Sunday
Ridgeview Church of God, 690 Riford Road, is hosting a performance by Soulja, a Christian rapper/singer later this week.
The performance, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Free ASIST suicide prevention training
Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide is slated to present ASIST Gatekeeper Training on Aug. 5 and 6 at the Moffat County Public Safety Center, 800 W. First St.
ASIST stands for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
The workshop is designed to give participants knowledge and skills to help them know how to intervene when they fear someone might be at risk for suicide.
Participants will learn to recognize suicide and depression warning signs, apply a model for intervention and how to link people with community resources.
The workshop lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. Donations are accepted.
