Craig Briefs: Elkhead Reservoir open on weekends
September 28, 2010
Due to "overwhelming" public response from residents in Moffat and Routt counties, Colorado State Parks has decided to keep Elkhead Reservoir open on the weekends — weather permitting — through October, according to a news release from state parks.
Elkhead will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The lake will also remain open for hand-launched vessels through the end of the season.
For more information, call the park office at 276-2061.
