Craig AARP Chapter No. 1418 is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

H1N1 vaccine now offered to veterans

The Craig Veterans Affairs TeleHealth Clinic has received 100 doses of H1N1 vaccine for distribution to veterans.

These doses are available by appointment only to veterans enrolled as patients with the VA.

To make an appointment for a H1N1 vaccine, call 824-6721 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Division Of Wildlife calendar available

For the first time, Colorado Outdoors — the official bimonthly magazine of the Colorado Division of Wildlife — will publish a calendar featuring the magazine's photography.

The 2010 Colorado Division of Wildlife Calendar also provides a month-by-month guide to major hunting season dates, license application deadlines, fishing information and detailed descriptions of watchable wildlife happenings and festivals across the state.

Calendars are $6.95 and may be purchased online at or at DOW offices statewide. Limited numbers are available.

County libraries are closed for holidays

Moffat County Libraries will be closed Thursday through Sunday and Friday, Jan. 1 through Sunday, Jan. 3.

MCTA promoting local businesses

The Moffat County Tourism Association plans to sponsor a booth at the 2010 International Sportsmen's Exposition from Jan. 7 to 10 in Denver, and the group would like items from local businesses to help promote Moffat County.

Donated items will be used in displays and giveaways during the event.

Officials ask that business owners provide anything from drawing prizes, promotional items and brochures to help spread the word about their businesses and the community at large.
