Craig briefs: Committee seeks new members

Craig — The Craig Beautification Committee is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. March 30 at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public.
The organization is trying to attract new members with new ideas for future projects.

Census job testing throughout day
The Census Bureau will be offering a full day of pre-employment testing today at the Colorado Workforce Center, 480 Barclay St.
Test times are 9:30 a.m, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Two forms of identification are required. A driver's license, social security card, birth certificate or a current passport are acceptable.

DC trip open to Craig residents
The We See D.C. Group has openings for this summer's trip to Washington, D.C., and Williamsburg, Va. The trip is open to all community members and any student in the sixth through ninth grades.

VNA immunization clinic Wednesday
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will offer a drop-in immunization clinic for middle and high school students from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.
Immunizations include Tdap and Menactra. Parents should bring their child's immunization record to the clinic and must be present if their child is younger than 18.
The VNA charges a sliding scale up to $14 per shot for anyone under 19.

Last Frontier group meeting March 27
The Preserving the Last Frontier group is scheduled to host its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. March 27 in the second floor conference room at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
The program will be given by the Museum of Northwest Colorado on old brands and branding. The meeting is open to the public.
