The Moffat County Commission will host a special meeting today at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way.
The agenda is below:
• 3:30 to 3:35 p.m. Call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, moment of silence
• 3:35 to 4:30 p.m. Discussion with Moffat County attorney Jeremy Snow
— Possible executive session to discuss lease negotiations of the Moffat County Public Safety Center and to receive legal advice.
The meeting is open to the public.

Parent meetings set for next week
There are two upcoming meetings for parents of Moffat County High School students. Discussion at the meetings will center on the college admissions process, financial aid and local scholarships.
The meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 7 in the library at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane. Parents may attend either night, and counselors will be available to answer questions and help parents get application processes underway.

Judge retention focus of forum
Matt Arnold of Clear the Bench Colorado is scheduled to host a forum Friday in Craig on all judges listed on the Nov. 2 general election ballot.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at noon at Carelli's Pizzeria & Pasta, 465 Yampa Ave.

Weight Watchers will continue meeting on Tuesday nights now that leader Susie Violette has returned to Craig.
Weigh-ins begin at 5 p.m., and the meetings begin at 6 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St.
