Craig Briefs: Blood donations needed today
June 22, 2010
A Craig community blood drive is scheduled for 12:30 to 6 p.m. today at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave.
According to a news release, only 4 percent of Colorado residents donate blood, and donations decrease by up to 20 percent in the summer, while the need for blood "remains constant."
Those interested in donating blood are encouraged to eat a full meal and drink plenty of water before donating.
Walk-ins are welcome.
