It’s starting to look like Friday’s loss against Delta won’t be the start of a losing streak for the MCHS girls varsity basketball team. The Bulldogs lead Palisade today, 36-21, heading into the fourth quarter.

Nike Cleverly had a good third quarter for MCHS with 5 points, and Roberts leads the team with 12.

The girls junior varsity basketball team puts up another good game today, winning 59-21. On Friday, the JV team won 81-50. That’s a combined score the last two games of 140-71 for the JV squad.

The Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team is hoping for a better start today against Palisade High School.

The Bulldogs are coming off a tough, 42-39 loss Friday night against Delta, a game in which MCHS struggled offensively.

Today's game is set to tip at 2 p.m. at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.

The Bulldogs were down 16-0 in the first quarter in their Jan. 22 match-up against Palisade.

Rejuvenated by junior varsity players, MCHS was able to storm back and win, 45-39.

Palisade was outscored by the Bulldogs 26-11 in the second and third quarters.
