Moffat County High School will host parent/teacher conferences from 4 to 7 p.m. today and Tuesday on the first and second floors of the school, 900 Finley Lane.
Parents can attend at any time during the conferences.

Churches to host Fun Fests
Two local churches are offering events called Fun Fest on Halloween.
Craig Christian Church, 960 W. Victory Way, hosts Fun Fest from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. The event includes games, played with purchased tickets, a meal and a live band.

Calvary Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave., hosts Fall Fun Fest, also from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. The event is free and includes games, prizes and food. All ages are welcome.

Elks to offer stroke screenings
Elks Lodge 1577 will host a Life Line Screening on Nov. 15.
The screenings help to identify potential cardiovascular conditions and assess risk for osteoporosis. The five screenings are painless and take between 60 and 90 minutes to complete. Packages start at $149.

Free Medicare workshop set for today
A free Medicare workshop takes place today in room 117 at Colorado Northwestern Community College's Craig campus, 2801 W. Ninth St. Residents can attend the workshop any time between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The workshop, sponsored by the Moffat County Council on Aging and CNCC, is designed to help residents compare plans and make sure they have the right coverage. Take prescriptions to the workshop.

Love INC hosts Community Coat Drive
Love in the Name of Christ is now distributing winter coats and is seeking donations to the Community Coat Drive.
Distributions are scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Lutheran Church of Grace, 657 Green St.
Anyone in need of a winter coat may pick up one for themselves and their children. The limit is one coat per person per year.
Donations of gently used coats, gloves and other accessories are accepted at Love INC, 656 School St., or Calvary Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave.
