The Moffat County Cattlewomen will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at the Moffat County School District bus garage on Rose Street.

The group's Moving Wall of Brands is on display at the Craig Campground through the month of October.

Cottonwood tree-plating trip this week

The Colorado Environmental Coalition, The Wilderness Society and Friends of Northwest Colorado are hosting a cottonwood tree-planting trip Friday and Saturday at Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge.

Overnight camping is an option for $10. Pre-registration is required at http://www.ourcolorado.org/cottonwood.

American Legion Post 62 is hosting a haunted house for Halloween season at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.

Trick-or-treating scheduled

Halloween trick-or-treating has been scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31 at downtown businesses, primarily in the 400 and 500 blocks of Yampa Avenue and on Victory Way, and Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.

Downtown business present light show

Clint Gabbert and The Jungle Pet Shop will present a light show beginning Friday and continuing through Halloween.

The show begins at dark and continues to 9 p.m. every night from Friday to Oct. 31 at the shop, 565 Yampa Ave.
